Psychological Safety, Communication and Accountability

 

Description:

Creating a workplace where team members feel safe to share ideas, ask questions, and hold each other accountable is key to success. This session covers the role of psychological safety in fostering open communication and building accountability, offering strategies to enhance trust and encourage candid, constructive conversations.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the concept of psychological safety and its impact on team communication and performance.
  • Analyze different communication techniques and their influence on fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Apply four ways to create a psychologically safe environment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of current communication practices in maintaining accountability within teams.
  • Create an action plan to improve team communication and accountability while ensuring psychological safety.
PLUS Four Additional Virtual 90-Minute Check-In Sessions: Dates TBD
19.5 Contact hours will be divided between the four in-person sessions and awarded after each session.

Molly J. Mackey is an author, speaker and trainer of leaders.  She is the founder and chief learning officer of the LEAdeRNship Institute.  Molly has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Iowa and a Certified Professional of Talent Development from the Association of Talent Development.


Molly spent many years as a training director for a healthcare and human service company and understands the unique challenges healthcare leaders face.  She currently works with healthcare teams all over the country to improve leadership performance.
